A network is to computers what a central nervous system is to the body. Without a properly installed network, vital functions like file sharing and internet browsing can operate at unacceptable speed levels, or not at all. That's where we come in.

Today, the biggest thing in networking is wireless access, commonly referred to as WiFi. With speeds now catching up to traditional wired connections, more people are jumping on the WiFi bandwagon every day. If you're ready to make that next step, let us help you make the transition smoothly and quickly.

If you're starting a new business, or simply bringing your operation up to date with a small business network, we can help you design and deploy your solution effectively. The most common mistake small business make is not thinking ahead to future expansion. We design networks that scale well, meeting the needs of a ten person operation, or a business with a hundred workstations equally as well because you never know when your business is going to grow.

Service fees and rates: Networking Services

- Networking services follow the same fee/rate structure as our on-site/housecall services. If we are provided with information like basic floorplans and location of junction boxes beforehand, time can be cut down as we can pre-plan a general outline of your network before we arrive. We do this at no extra charge, and it can help shave precious time off our billed labor. Our minimum fees by city/town are as follows:

    $80.00 - Hudson
    $90.00 - Marlboro/Berlin/Bolton/Stow/Sudbury
    $100.00 - Boylston/Northboro/Lancaster/Harvard/Boxboro/Acton

- After the first hour, our normal hourly rate of $40.00 per hour applies, rounded to the nearest half-hour.

- We will install and configure managed permissions services for LDAP servers/Domain controllers if required by your networking environment. However, on-going administration of these services is beyond the scope of our business model and is the responsibilty of the local area network administrator.
